Valadao Breaks Single-Month Fundraising Record in CA-21

Hanford, CA – Today, David Valadao announced he raised more than $530,000 within one month since announcing his candidacy to reclaim California’s 21st Congressional District on August 28, 2019, a historic single-month record in the southern San Joaquin Valley Congressional seat.

“I am thankful to have such strong support from so many of my Central Valley neighbors,” David Valadao said. “Our team is overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support show in the first month of our campaign. Voters are excited and eager to have a strong voice they can trust representing them in Congress again.”

Some key statistics from Valadao’s first-month fundraising:

● 59% of Valadao’s donations come from the Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare counties, which make up California’s Twenty First Congressional District

● Meanwhile, after six months of fundraising, only 0.07% of TJ Cox’s donations originate from CA-21 counties. Nearly half of Cox’s quarter one and two contributions, or 43 percent, come from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Valadao Campaign Manager Andrew Renteria said, “Valley families, employers, and workers want someone fighting for them in Washington who their best interest at heart.” He continued, “They want someone who understands the issues facing Valley families and has real solutions, not soundbites.”

David Valadao represented the 21st Congressional District from 2013-2019, which includes Kings County and portions of Fresno, Tulare, and Kern Counties.
